How was Pakistan formed?

How was Pakistan formed?

1930

In London, a student named Rahmat Ali is walking along the banks of the Thames. The Lahore Resolution was put forward by Jinnah's Muslim League party to want a separate country from India. But they have no name for a separate country. Rahmat Ali was thinking about what to name this new country. He thought that then India would be named Hindustan.

Hindustan has another name that ends as Sthan. It will include Punjab, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Sindh... What if we combine the first four letters and call it Pakistan (PAKSTAN)? Bach means pure. Pakistan means pure place. East Bengal can also be named as Bangladesh and Hyderabad (Andhra) can be named as Osmanistan.

This is how the name Pakistan was born. They changed it to Pakistan to make it easier to pronounce. After learning that Nehru was going to name "India" after partition, Jinnah strongly protested. Name it Hindustan, India is the common name for a united India-Pakistan. But Nehru and Mountbatten disagreed. As a compromise solution, it was decided to name India as Bharat.

A similar problem arose between Malaysia and the Philippines. The Philippines were captured by the Spanish and named Filipinas after the Spanish King Philip. Later the Americans caught it and anglicized it and named it as Philippines. When asked what is the ethnicity of Filipinos, many will say "Filipino". But Philip is the King of Spain. How can there be a race named after him?

Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia are all Malay. Filipinos say that we too are Malays. But they don't speak Malay. Religion is Christianity. Malaya and Indonesia were also ruled by Anta Majapahit and Sri Vijaya governments. But the Malays do not accept them as Malays so easily.

After independence from the British, when Malaysia and Singapore joined together, the country was called the Federation of Malaya (Federation of Malaya). The Philippines also consulted on what to name after its independence from Japan and the United States. No one likes the name Philippines. Why should the King of Spain be named after him?

They decided to call the Tagalog nation by the name of the spoken language. But people who did not speak Tagalog came to fight. Well, they have been debating in the parliament that they have unanimously decided to keep our ethnic name Malay and name it as "Malaysia".

But Malaysia also decided to change its name then. If the name is Malaya, it will be like alienating the people of Singapore. The people of Singapore were Chinese and Tamils too. So they named Malaysia in 1963 by combining Malaya and Si to represent Singapore.

Since the name Malaysia was lost, the fierce Filipinos thought of other names and without reaching any conclusion, disputes and fights arose and decided that "Okay, the current name is enough, the name Filipino will be enough."

So the systems of geography determine the ethnic groups, the name of the country and its destiny #geography_is_destiny
